Is there still possible to get 1$ domains on GoDaddy? On the ad they advertise a 1$ domain but when is checkout time is usually about ~7$. I tried a lot of codes, doesn't work....

It only works for the first time user

I have a Godaddy website. It works, but it's shit ;p I don't see why people should hate on it though..?

Why no? I just need domains for registrations, single-time use...
Because they trick people in and never deliver.

Please... spend some time and just read what others have to say on this forum about godaddy.

I hate Godaddy because the server is slow and domain names are pricy and they charge you for private registration.

You can buy a domain at Dynadot and internet bs get cheap prices and the renewal price is same for a lifetime.

If you did not get working codes to try Internet bs and Dynadot. They offer you a cheap domain name and free privacy policy.

I always use new Proxy, browser, email, etc...-
In this case better to ask in pre-sales chat why you can get domain name at the announced price as new user. I believe there you will get the best answer which will help you to understand the nature of their special offer.

GoDaddy pretty much stopped the $1 promo code thing 2-3 years ago. If you're looking for cheap regs, check other registrars/wait for a sale. It's always limited on per user basis, since registry pays something like $7,xx (depends on current Verisign pricing), so they are dumping their money in sales like this.

Divide the total cost of a domain by the year, and you will see its peanuts from all service providers, but godaddy are the most expensive, with hidden costs, and regular price increases.

I think that works for only first time user. You create new account and uncheck the two year thing from drop down.
