Anyone else have problems with these two sites recently?

Ezinearticles is taking longer than usual to approve articles and the goarticles site is extremely slow and articles don't seem to be getting indexed.

Can't say I have. In fact I submitted one to EZA a couple of days ago and it was approved in a couple of hours! They must like my style or something. :)

Yup submitted my article to EZA 3 days ago, no reply:(
 
I'd say good riddance to them if they are acting this way on purpose. Maybe the future belongs to the paid article directories, who at least pay you for the backlinked articles you submit. Let's build up the PR weight of these newer sites, instead of the ungrateful and saturated free directories.
 
Ok my goarticles articles are now indexed. Submitting the rss feed for your author profile to rss directories and adding a few social bookmarks helped. Still waiting for ezinearticles though - this is now 2 weeks since the original article was submitted.
 
ezinearticles is oversatrated with marketers submitting stuff

Maybe there is a problem with your user name/ name you post the article with.

If that makes any sense, they wanted me to change mine because it wasn't good or taken or some crap. So they wouldn't let me post the article until i changed it.

where else do you submit your articles to?

What is a good mass uploader? One that actually works on yes-follow-thru sites?

and can you share how many days did it take for your article(s) to get indexed?
 
I added a few backlinks to my goarticles and it was indexed the next day. so yep...you need to do something on your article at GA to get it indexed quicker.
 
Its funny how ezine act as though they dont want marketers plugging their products there. But i cant see any other use for EA..

I waited a week on one article then gave up and just moved to taking those articles and sticking them on web 2.0 properties.
