I purchased a domain name now I want to design the website right..

But when I launch the website it only gives me 1 page and says i have to pay for other pages...thats ridiculous...
Any way I can use the domain name but not go daddy website set up ?
like use a free web hosting website with the purchased domain name?

What else do you expect from free hosting? Buy a hosting plan. I use the 7.99 deluxe plan from godaddy and have like 20 wordpress sites hosted there.

Of course. There are some free web hosting providers, you just need to sign up with them and change the name servers at godaddy to the ones from the free web hosting.

Don't worry, we all have to start at some point. Let me check a particular free web hosting and I'll tell you step by step how to do it.

Okay, you can try this free web hosting provider:

Code:
http://www.000webhost.com/

I don't use free webhosting myself, but I've seen this one mentioned a LOT by reputable members here, so it should do fine.

Just go there and sign up, and where it asks you if you want to use an existing domain, put your domain info. Fill the rest of the application and you'll get a confirmation email.

After you confirm your email, simply take note of the nameservers they give you, something like:

Code:
You need to update nameservers to ns01.000webhost.com, ns02.000webhost.com for your domain.

Now go to GoDaddy, click on "My Account", and then click on your domain name. You'll get to the "Domain Details" screen. Once there, look for the Nameservers section and click on "Set Nameservers", and substitute the ones already there for the ones you got, like in above example. Click ok-confirm everything and you'll have access to your free web hosting.

Just follow the guides at 000webhost or whatever it's called and you'll have a website up and running in no time.

Hope this helps ;).

depends on what you want to do, but if you dont want to spend any dosh, you can use your domain name with blogspot or weebly

000webhost is a good site, but you have to make sure your site doesn't break their ToS, as once you have it set up they do a manual review, but if its a legit site you're making then its all good.

Load times are sometimes a bit off, but its awesome for a free host, I use their subdomains as web 2.0s for linking, never tried hosting my own domain there.
