Go Daddy domain verification (PBN)

Hi guys,

So I've recently added two .co.uk domains to my pbn. Both were purchased with Go Daddy.

Yesterday, I had an email saying they couldn't verify my addresses for both domains. (They use fake details for obvious reasons)

Anyone had this before? Are there any easy ways to get around it (Is Go Daddy not a good place to purchase PBN sites?)

Speaking from experience, GoDaddy are a terrible choice for PBN domains, there's all sorts of verification skulduggery that they'll throw at you. I lost two domains that way before I learned that lesson, I couldn't find a way out.
 
Just find a real UK address and use that (and use the 'hide info' option too) and a random name.
Worked for me so far (only 1 reg failed but not with gd)

Ah thanks for the good advice myopic, my own hunch was telling me to avoid Go Daddy in future too. Looks like I'll be giving them a wide berth!!! :D

That's what I've started doing too. Giving the official address for a residence / company with good UK postcode. Like you said it seems to work well If you use something that's off the Royal Mail official list of addresses / postcodes.

Like myopic said though, I think I'll steer clear of Go Daddy from now on.
 
I used fakenamegenerator.com for all type of address and never face such issues, I have many domains with godaddy and using fake info (different address, name, phone, emails) for all.

Everything working fine for me. They only send email verification which is normal.
 
Maybe try updating the address on Nominet. I did this once and it worked fine but the domain wasn't with GoDaddy.
 
I stopped using Go Daddy years ago. Yeah they've got awesome coupons but they're also screwy. I just went with namecheap. I'm extremely happy, but idk about using them for a PBN.

Good point about the fake name creator. I will have to try that. It'll save me a ton of money instead of paying for whois protection.

Goddady really have a very bad team, One day they suspend all of my/my client domains without any reasons, and moved all of my domains to another registrar, this takes much time to can get all the sites released for transferring.
 
OP - this is not just a GoDaddy issue - this comes up any time you buy a .co.uk domain, regardless of registrar.
Just make sure the address exists, and you're good to go.
 
If godaddy charges for privacy, you can hide your details by simply going to the nominet site, enter your domain email and create an account, once done there is an option to keep your info hidden (as long as reg the names are an individual) for all domains under that email and of course you can create accounts for each email easily enough. I am shocked how many companies charge for hidden UK domain info when it is a free service. I've read godaddy is more likely to dig deeper cause problems) if you use a coupon code, don't use them so couldn't tell you if there is any truth to that
