Gnarly's 2014 Journey to $100/Day!

Hey,

I'm a 19 year old student from Ireland, who is looking to make a solid $100 a day by the end of 2014. I've been doing internet marketing since I was 15 but had a break last year because of state exams so I want to get back into IM but I was putting it off for too long and this seemed like a good way to get focused on getting back.

I'm now in University studying full time and I want to be able to pay off my bank loans that i took out for accommodation and college fees, I'm close to getting a job in maccy D's to pay it off, but i'd much rather do IM. I've about enough to support me until february unless I go on a serious bender but and I've already paid for a years worth of Hosting and have a few domains under my belt along with some software tools like SENuke (if thats good anymore) and Mass Video Blaster from before.

Before I used to make money from sniper sites that were easy enough to rank when I had some good content on them, I'm not sure how SEO is now its probably going to be harder to make money from it. I really have no idea what works anymore,should go with CPA + Youtube\tumblr or do some Sniper Sites?

I'm going to try build one site per week (I have 7 Untouched domains that I need to build on) with 4k-5k words of content then outsource the SEO on here.

Hey mate -- I can't help you out with much short-term.

But here's an idea for a long-term project. Maybe take one of your domains (or invest the $10 into one more), and do a long-term authority site. Don't spam this site with SEO software... actually don't even build any links.

Just create an awesome authority site (over the entire year, don't try to rush it) about some topic that you love. Post content whenever you want, don't worry about keywords, just do at least 1 post per week. Maybe throw up an email opt-in form once you've got some traffic (just inbound, don't worry if you're not getting a lot).

Then in a year or so, (remember don't do any other work on the site, no seo... nothing), take a look at the site. And you'll notice that you have a 1 year old domain, with 50+ niche relevant posts, and that will be an amazing asset in the years to come. At that point you can get really adventurous with your promotion (seo/social media/forums/guest posts), you can monetize heavily and turn it into an awesome money-making machine.

From reading Motzart's post, He has convinced me that an authority site is the way to go.(Thanks for the great advice man, I really appreciate it!)

Domain
I have a EMD of the niche which I bought a year or so ago that has over 13,000 searches a month and has alright competition, its a niche area that is broad enough that I can make at least a post a week on a variety of topics within that niche and I have quite a lot of personal interest and experience in this niche myself so it should be easy enough to make some articles for it.

Setting up the site
Installed Wordpress and set up plugins.
Made a header in photoshop to give the site some appeal.
The theme I will be using is WooThemes Canvas, Its simple but is easy to customise and it worked great for one of my previous sites.
I wrote a main post of 1600 words and have two other 500 word articles scheduled to post within the next two days.

Social Media
I set up the social media profiles for the authority site on Facebook,Twitter and Youtube.
Facebook - Made a Timeline Header and Profile Picture in Photoshop and Added information to the about me section
Twitter - Setup the profile, Added information, Followed main people in the niche and some people who tweeted about the niche.
Youtube - Added Information and Links, Subscribed to channels and Commented on a few videos.

I may buy some Facebook and twitter followers just to influence people to like/follow within the next week.
