Currently folllowing a max of 740 users a day with GMT2, unfollowing them after 24-48 hours, but I am only gaining 10-15 followers a day. Anybody have any tips on how to get better followback ratio? I am following users from my same exact niche.

You need to use appropriate filters based on your niche and target audience. If things still dont work out, either you need to improve on content or your sources are not as per the niche.
Changed up location where I was sscraping from to smaller accounts and then disabled the following of private accounts and follow back rates are much better.
