GMB Verification Process

Hello Guys,

I was wondering what others are doing to create GMB accounts remotely. Does anyone have any suggestions or actionable steps that can be taken?

I am talking about real businesses, with phone numbers, and addresses. We don't have anyone on site capable of doing verification and every time we try to make it a client responsibility it never happens.

We would ideally like to do post card verification, email, or phone verification.

If in america, post cards are basically gone.

What i have been doing is triggering text or phone verification and hoping it gets auto suspended. If this happens, and you get it unsuspended with the right documents you can skip the video verification.

What are your thoughts about triggering the text or phone verification. It seems video verification is the only option we seem to get.

How do you get suspended, and why would we want to?

If we just needed to show the right documents during an unsuspention, couldn't we just go straight to support and request the verification via documents?

hope you dont mind if i jump in here ..recently went through this .. had to send a video , they rejected it and then a couple days later it was active and verified.
I do have a question tho.. even the address is showing on maps I dont have the business showing on maps like other businesses.
Any suggestions ?

I've had the same thing happen recently. Video failed and after some time it was active and verified.

The problem we have is we can not realistically have our clients do video verifications.

For example, how do big boys like nationwide businesses handle GMB verifications? Do agencies working with these companies have to actually fly out to each location and handle the GMB verification?

Is there maybe a special GMB agency account we can register for? lol
 
Google My Business (GMB) verification can be done through postcard, phone, email, or instant verification (for eligible businesses) via the GMB dashboard.

The question is how do people handle remote verification methods for their clients?
 
Very curious as well. Google support literally dropped the video support call with me when I was trying to get a profile verified.

Probably bulk verification

Yea so for the text/phone verification it takes a very specific method, i usually achieve this making a fresh email and using a burner phone aka straight talk for the number.

You want it to get suspended because you can just submit documents for verification and skip the whole video process.
