GMB Reviews From Friends

An ORM client has received some positive reviews, nothing over the top but certainly more than normal (usually 2 per month, she got 9 over 2 months) so I asked her if she had been busier than usual or had been reaching out to old customers for reviews.

She said that she asked her friends to leave her reviews and it turns out at least 6 left her a review and they were most likely left via smartphones / tablets.

Basically should I worry about her receiving any penalisation from Google for receiving these reviews from people who have likely not been at her shop aka not promoted to leave one by the Google notification?

Nothing to worry about. Unless they all left it from same wifi but even then worst case the reviews will get deleted
