GMB - offers and updates. how important are they?

I have been updating my GMB weekly by adding updates and offers. Do they appear in search results? Or do they only show up on the GMB profile? i'm wondering how important they are for SERP or they are just important to signal to google that this company is alive since its GMB gets updated weekly.

This is the answer. And yes, they won't show on SERPs they are just for GBP.
