GMB Needed For Non Retail Service Sites?

Have gotten some advice recently that an e com site should have GMB...even though its a national site, no local traffic, and the site is not open for public service business...plus concerned about getting a bunch of BS fake reviews saying my car wash is the worst, if you know what I mean,ps we are not a car wash... there is no traffic on the site, so no customers..no one to leave reviews now anyway to offset potential bs spm..but it's been said getting GMB ia good, like selling me a ticket on the titanic. Do the good common sense meat eats of BHW have any thoughts on this? Plus I would think it would mess up organic since they start showing u for local only
