GMB Listings becoming a pay to play feature??

Hi friends,

I recently watched a YouTube video (link below) that explains Google has been surveying business owners to find out their willingness to pay for a Google My Business listing among other things. Does anyone know much about this and the likelihood it may happen?? Also, what are your thoughts for your own business or your clients if it does become a tier based monthly subscription??

Would obviously be a massive monetization boost for Google so I can see why they want to do it lol Look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts!
