GMB From 1st Page to 3rd Page - Help

Hi,
So I posted in another section, but realize it belongs here. I have a new-ish website, 2 months. Everything was going great. I immediately moved to the second page. Then, after a month I made it to the first page for all keywords. I'm a lawyer, so I was receiving calls for cases. Life was good, and I thought it was only a matter of time until I reached the top. Fast forward two weeks, I drop in all my keywords with my main dropping to the second page. Fast forward to today, I drop in all keywords for GMB to the third page!?

My organic keywords are all on the rise, including my local keywords that I'm targeting. My backlink profile is better than most my comp and still is gaining links. And my GMB is better optimized with posts and all that shit. I have had some speed issues that I'm working on. But any other advice. Is this the Google Dance? I'm not penalised manually. And my organic stuff is starting to rank nicely.

Sounds like Google dance, you'll probably get back to same position or higher. Did you continue to build back links after you hit first page?

Yes, I’ve been building them a bit slower as of late because I have so many from this directory that all lawyers are in flooding in. But I’ve built out some really high DA stuff with HARO and guest posts.

like the stuff people here pay $200 a link for.I’m not in a terribly competitive sub niche and my market isn’t very competitive.

social signals have little to no effect to do with SEO, you'll be losing money (you can try anyway)
I think you should hire someone to make an SEO audit for your website on-page and off-page
nobody can actually know with little to no information, It could be due to a google dance, google update or anything else
but you can't decide that easy

you can post in the hire a freelancer section,
but make sure to hire someone with a good reputation and especially good experience,
many services/sellers/workers in here are just resellers or/and just want to get your money with little to no proper work done

don’t mind at all, I really appreciate your willingness to help. I will say that speed needs work, but I’m getting that sorted out right now.

Yes, Might be its a google dance, but when google dance happen some keywords will suffer not all. As you say in 2 weeks your ranking is goes down, its not a google dance, apart form that Might be your backlink profile is not good, Some site give us site-wide links which is not Good as per the SEO. Rest I have to analysis your website (for free) and will provide you more valuable feedback. Thanks
