Gmail email limits

I tried to set up an email campaign, and I must have done it wrong.

I set up 10 gmails. I sent out 30 emails from each, in batches of 10, so each email gets one, then each email sends another, and so on. But about halfway through, I got gmail errors saying I hit my limit. Are they counting all of them together? Did I set up the gmails wrong?

Any help on this? I think maybe it's treating all these gmails as one account, but I don't know for sure.

Gmail has been really strict off late. Lost a few account simply coz i logged in with the wrong proxy. Are you changing IPs, between the mailings? Also it seems that if you have a new account then Gmail doesn't allow you to send out a lot of emails. On one of my new accounts today it wouldn't let me send even one email. A lot has changed int he last couple of weeks it seems. There is no problem with aged accounts tho as long as you keep changing your IP.

500 per day per gmail account on my end. Same IP. Been doing that pretty consistently with little to no trouble. Not sure if it makes any dif, but these are from domain emails.

Gmail limit is 500 emails per day. By making 10 emails in gmail id does not mean you will have limit of 500*10 email per day. You will still have the limit of 500 because google knows that all these gmails id are from the same person.

yes exactly correct.. everything has its own limits .. like wise gmails too

Given how clever Google are at sniffing adsense fraud, I'm sure they would have turned a little attention to preventing spam from Gmail... it's likely that they've recognised the same machine 'abusing' multiple accounts.

It's not just IP address that identifies your machine - your device has a fingerprint, easily recognizable - so even if you change proxy, it's still clearly the same machine.

I think it's best practice to spam from a gmail account, right? Please tell me if I have my logic straight, or if not, where I'm wrong.

--if you send spam from your commercial domain, you'll get your commercial domain email accounts added to spam lists, so when you send real email like newsletters or emails to clients, it won't go through as much
--gmail email is better to use than a throwaway domain, because it has much higher chance to be opened
--if you use throwaway domain, you'll get added to spam lists quickly, and you'll have to use new domain for new emails constantly

Is this right? Or should I just go ahead and use throwaway domain emails?

I have been experimenting with this. Changing IP- changing useragent- clear cookies, cache etc and still Gmail will ask security questions while creating accounts. I also recall reading somewhere that if G finds cookies missing its a big red flag for them.

try signup using broadband connection also sanbox your browser..
good way if you install ccleaner to clean your log..

Everyone thinks it's IP but if you think about your MAC address, computer, serial, is all there for Google to sniff

Been digging around today, it seems gmail is not the best way to do this. I think using a throwaway domain is the best. Is there a spamming tutorial somewhere on this site? btw, I love you guys. I go by the Jim Rome motto "If you're not cheating, you're not trying."

My next question: if I use a throwaway domain and spam from it, will it affect my ability to send out emails from my commercial domain to real clients sent from different account, but same computer, same Outlook, same IP.

But how do you know the emails you send from a throwaway domain are inboxing? Most of us use gmail coz it's easy to inbox with it and avoid spam filters etc.

500 Limit is correct. But if you send transectional and very good open rate emails then it can increase as well
