yep, i think that only way to delay sending is to use outlook! check it

Also: The maker of one of the Craigslist Posters made also an Auto-resonder Application that would allow to easily set up different accounts, templates, etc.... But I don't remember the name anymore .... (I think he sold it for around $150)
- You create an account for the email you will use in Outlook
- Create a holiday response message in outlook for that account
- Set the time frame that your Outlook account should access your email account ... lets say every 20 min
- As a result Outlook will automatically access your email account download the messages and send a responds
- Thus the delay in the response time can be from none (for an email that just arrieved) to 20 min

Ok, this is just an idea and I have not had time to test this yet, but in theory it should work.
Setup Gmail1 account and use Outlook to collect the emails say every 20 minutes
Use rules in Outlook to forward all incoming emails to Gmail2.
Gmail2 autoresponds.
So there is a delay in Gmail2 autoresponding, just have not tested if it will autorespond to the correct email address.

Alright, lets get this clear about sending gmails while I'm good and wasted and willing to share what I know...
If you don't use gmail's autoresponder you will be limited to X number of mails you can send with your promo email in them per hour/day with each gmail account you use... I've tried delayed autoresponse w/easy ad poster with proxies from gmail/hotmail addys and it seems nothing performed like straight up autoresponders so why bother? After X sending thru gmail it will bounce every message with the URL in it back to the sender.. I think that X number is around 50ish but not 100% sure on that... Anyhow.. I don't wanna try and discourage people.. I'm just saying what I think works and its not doing delayed response unless you get less than 50 responses per email accnt per day.. if thats the case then you should be all good.

Hows come I emailed only about 30 people with gmail before they accused me of spamming? Where do you get you can send 500 emails? I copy and pasted most of the email except for the person's name, could this be why?
Because it wouldn't be a timed response.
Generally you find most people who want timed are trying to ensure it doesn't look like an autoresponder.
This is pretty useful especially if posting to CL, as not only does your message not look so canned but you get some breathing space before your advert is flagged.
The "easist" / cheapest way to do this is simply set up outlook, then have two gmail accounts
On day 1 you send to gmail 1 on day 2 to gmail 2 , forward them in gmail to seperate pop3 accounts in outlook.
Then just set up a rule and hit send receive 24 hours after you sent the responses to gmail 1.
It's a free delayed AR basically.
Not ideal but works perfectly,
Great idea. It is always the simple answers that get overlooked. So is there a setting to time send receive or do you just go in once a day and do it manually?

What if you chain your forward? like account1 -forward- account2 -forward- account3 -forward- account4 -forward- account5 and then on account5 you have an autoresponder
tadaa, i think it will take a few mins for email to go from account1 to account5 haha may be the stupidest idea ever idk.
