I have my tin foil hat on again... and in that light, I ask; does anyone have any credible and factual examples of Google using your emails in your Gmail account to discover blackhat activity, and penalize your sites accordingly?

The reason I ask is that my gmail account is about all they would need to look at to take manual action against dozens, perhaps hundreds of sites I own, and sometimes I just can't help but wonder...

Google can legally and freely use anything in your email for their internal work, whether it's showing you ads or watching your black hat seo activity..... Whether anyone has proof of it, I seriously doubt you'll get that answer.

Let's just say this: if it's 100% legal for them to do so, then why not?

Hmmm... Maybe time to transition away from gmail. On the note of using the data, didn't they come out ages ago when they started showing contextual ads in Gmail and say something like "we would never read your email, it's a computer generated match"?

Can any of the other major free email providers be used as a POP client for your other email accounts? That's a big plus for me with Gmail, I use it to access everything.

Plain and simple fact is if you are gaming Google you do not use their services for everything. At least not to share your
game plan to beat them. Would you use an enemies notebook for a war strategy? No. Same concept.

Just use your own domain email with catchall = NO googlesnooping!

Been doing it for years with no problems.

That doesn't count of course your hosting providers snooping! Just saying.

I have always wondered why anyone would want to use the service you are trying to get over on for all
your business just as MadStacks said.

Enjoy ..... :cool2:
