My wife did her at dissertation on the heat island effect on reporting of temperatures. This was before global warming was pushed as a thing. Her conclusion, which at the time was not at all controversial, was that as the area becomes more developed there is more mass to absorb heat in the day which would skew the temperature recordings to the positive (i.e would show warmer).

As cities and towns become more developed, the heat island effect becomes more pronounced. Almost all temp sensors in the UK are in built up areas that are, likely, still being developed. More development = higher temps in that area. As time, these temp readings will increase, but not only because of CO2.

I'm not saying the climate isn't changing, or that CO2 is having 0 effect but to act like CO2 is the one thing that will cause destruction of the planet is insane.

I was replying to his second sentence.

UK hasn't had a warm year since 2020, it has rained since 2021. When the world starts warming, I will be able to take my coat off in May.

Has anyone considered that maybe the world would be a more comfortable place with a couple of degrees warmer temps?

Starting with the Weather and going with another (topic : Eating). It's just warming the brain and when the brain warns, there comes the so-called Global Warming.

No problem right now, but temperatures being increasing, nights used to be fresh and now is hot and there is no escape besides is something I can still leave but really don't like it, this years temperatures being rising like crazy.

Should they not be afraid that their mansaions will go down ?

Yep the volume of CO2 in the air is very small to pose a threat but stupidity of people is more a greater threat
