Hi Guys,

A few SEO folks in and around Glasgow have put together a fortnightly meetup called BDX Glasgow

The aim of the event is to get like minded people from the area together to share ideas and meet others.

Every event has a few talks from local industry specialists, there's free food and usually some beers so feel free to nip along for a pint on a Wednesday after work.

The focus of the next event is Crowd Sourcing for Digital Marketing, I believe there a few guys from private equity funds turning up to tell people what they look for in a start up.

The next event will be on the 3rd Dec probably in Butterfly and pig on Bath St but check the event page as venues are booked up this time of year.

As far as I know there are 4 BHW users that attend at the moment.

Can ya postpone it till January ? :D That's when I go to Glasgow .
 
Been to the Butterfly and Pig about 5-6 times and damn, the food there is heaven!
 
Oh well now, this is interesting. Might have to join you there, depending on how busy I'm with uni.
 
If George Galloway is coming then i will come to your event too :D
he got excellent social media marketing skills
 
Yea count me in for this. I'm a little way down the road in Perth.
The site is still showing registration for the 19th November event at the moment, Ill check back on Monday to register for the next one.

Oh nice, just took the train through Perth yesterday when I went to see a mate in Dundee and went to see St Andrews with him as well. Lovely place, and Perth looked okay as well ;)

And yeah, tried to register, but couldn't, so I'll try again later.

Nip along, the food is good, the first event was in The Raven, food is amazing in there, but its a bit small and loud for what we do

Janis that runs the event won't be back in the office till Tuesday so it'll be about then before it updates, look forward to meeting up

cool, the eventbrite page will be updated today, still trying to get organised after Ungagged, the jetlag is a killer
 
Shame I can't attend this one, I'll actually on in Perth when it's going down. Still, it's nice to know there's a fair few Weegies around these parts.

Alright, I've registered my spot in the meet up, nice to see it's about start ups since that is a more timely topic for me as well.

Hi guys, sorry but I cant make it to this event now.
 
I have an other appointment until six o'clock in the city, but apparently the venue changed to Ibrox? Can't really get there in time, as I'd have to take the subway and all. Maybe for the other event before Christmas then.
 
Too short notice to come from London, but will be on the lookout for future events!
