I tried the first and last code in the list on my US AdWords account and got: Error "Invalid promotional code"

Do you have to use them on new accounts, or during your payment?

maybe not - the codes are now 11 hours old and the thread has had over 100 views, so probably just used already.

Google only says invalid code if the code is fake.
If it's real and redeemed, they will say the code is redeemed.

So yes, OP posted fake codes for thanks.
