Giveaway business? Would that even be possible?

I'm just wondering. I just woke up from a nap and I had this idea. It's probably pretty stupid.

Would it be profitable to start a "giveaway business"? This would involve setting up a facebook/youtube/instagram page offering a "FREE GÏVËÅWĀYY #giveaway" of a product. The followers/likers/subscribers would naturally increase quite rapidly and you could then use that following as foundation for affiliate links and other offers etc...

In the long run businesses would end up offering and even paying you to promote their products to your followers.

Something about it sounds iffy though.

Ofcourse it would work. That's the easiest method to grow your social media fan base

It already exists, people offer free stuff to get people coming in their channel.
Free ebooks for example.
So you would just offer free followers instead.

But yes, it's a good idea, you can try it.
