I don't know how he would send real traffic from google. Rank you really fast and then derank you? It is probably some type of traffic with artificially set referrer.

Most of these giveaways are for bot traffic so I'm confused as OP said organic traffic from Google. I thought it's the traffic from threshold accounts or Google Sites. I don't think if there is a way to quickly rank a site.
