Give visitors points for writing, commenting and sharing?

I'd love to give people an incentive to share and comment on my website, so I'm wondering if there's anything 'out of the box' that enables me to do it.

So someone comes to my site, signs up and each time they make a comment or shares a comment across social media, they gain points. The Top 10 are listed on the right hand side. They'll also gain points for writing a post.

Do you think this is doable inside Wordpress, even if it meant hiring a programmer?

This sounds like a cool idea. Been thinking of doing something similar. Would really like to hear responses.
