GitHub Copilot is dead?

Hi,

I've been using Copilot Pro (free trial) and today they removed Opus 4.6 and Sonnet 4.6 from the models list.

Do you think it is a temporary bug? Do you have this issue too?
Was considering switching to an alternative if this change is intentional, but don't know which one. Windsurf has too few tokens.
If I have to spend 10 USD for Pro/Pro+ I'll do that clearly, but I wanted to explore some alternatives first.

copilot pails in comparison to claude code, if you have the budget it is a lot better and integrates so much better

Those models were only recently added to Copilot and are still being rolled out or limited depending on plan and usage. Sometimes they disappear from the picker because of A/B testing, limits, or provider availability.
