After a very adventurous but rather irresponsible 2015, I'm feeling very motivated to start making some internet monies.
I'm a 24 year old ex-poker player from the Netherlands who is currently traveling long-term through SE-Asia. I discovered IM and this forum about 2 months ago. I've been very devoted to reading tons of threads everyday to find something that I can see myself doing.
Some weeks ago I decided to educate myself on social media with IG as my main focus.
What I have done so far
I created 2 IG accounts, 1 in the travel niche (as that is my passion) and 1 in the pets niche.
Besides that, I secured the .com domain of my main IG account together with Pinterest, Facebook page & Twitter accounts. I used IFTTT to post all my IG posts on Twitter + follow/unfollow with MP which got me a humble 3k followers. The engagement really sucks, but that's to be expected I guess since I never interact with the account besides automated stuff.
I grew the #mymainaccountname from 0 to 250+ posts (60 coming from my own page) which I think is pretty cool.
Goals
- Making my first internet $$$'s before February
- Making $ 100,- a day before 2017
- Have 3 different income streams before 2017
- Keep making and completing monthly goals
The plan
I have yet to come up with something that is realistic. Fortunately I consider myself to be a pretty fast learner, and will surely come up with something better than the following ramblings. I signed up for Ogmobi yesterday and am going to research how to use that without getting my accounts banned.
I am getting a decent financial boost later this week, which I'm planning to use to start up another 20 IG accounts.
My plans for monotizing are quite simple, shoutouts and maybe CPA.
For now the plan is just to focus all my efforts into growing both in quality and quantity and learning more about this game.
What I have to work with
- Massplanner
- 1 IG account in the travel niche. 3808 followers, 1356 following & about 5-7% engagement
- 1 IG account in the pet niche. 2174 followers, 3007 following & a pretty bad 3-4% engagement. This was previously one of the personal accounts of my gf. She wasn't using it anymore and I flipped it into a pet niche account, thinking that a personal account would convert best into the pet niche rather than hot girls, men's watches or whatever.

To conclude
I might sidetrack a bit with different methods of income or some hooker stories here and there (just kidding). IG is my main focus, but it's not all that's on my mind. Good luck to everyone on their grind and may 2016 bring you the success you are striving for.

I am also in the same spot as you, and we're like the same age. I am not into IG atm, but I will create an account just to see if I can work on it.
