Why do I have all these problems just getting an ebook going?

The requirements are that I had to hire someone to format it correctly to be distributed and now they say the cover imgage size is wrong and I need a vertical image and not a square one and use GIMP to resize it. They want more money for ding the imag and I just dont have it.

However I knw nothing of resizing pixels.

Anyone know about resizing from square image to vertical please?

    Also the image requirements are

They should be vertical rectangle-shaped, not squares, and must be a minimum height of 600 pixels. 500 pixels wide X 700 pixels tall is a good size and ratio (your height is approximately 1.4 times greater than your width)

Don't use gimp? I'm a huge open source fan but gimp really sucks. Go download the Photoshop trial and block the registration with your hosts file.
