After a WHO offical claims that GILD are developing a drug that cures corona virus their stocks jumped high in just one day, because of the threat that corona virus brings, do you think this stock will keep rising or not?

No. It will not keep rising. Same thing happened with a gold mining company stock I bought. Short term gains unless Corona goes viral in a bunch of western states.

Covid-19 is showing itself in small numbers in a number of Western countries. Hopefully it will stay that way.

It's going up because of their vaccine so that's different. Nevertheless, it won't be approved till next year so this will be useless soon. Buy puts end of next week if it's still climbing.
