Hello Blackhatworld, I am new to the game but I hope to reach great heights. I am a 21 year old college student and I am in serious need of money. My school does not have dormitories so I must commute and pay for my own living expenses with a minimum wage job, creating a stressful environment for me to pursue my education. I would like to thank my friend, a successful junior V.I.P who directed me to this forum so that I may lurk until I feel ready to start a campaign. I must say that I am impressed and inspired by all of you and I wish you all the best of luck and hope to read many more success stories that I have come to enjoy.
After browsing this website on my downtime I have noticed there are so many ways to make money that it was very hard to choose just one method. My friend told me to pick one method and just dominate it so that is what I am going to do. Affiliate marketing seems like a great way to make money, as long as you are a good salesman and know how to manipulate social engineering to your advantage. Ebay has shown itself to be a great method to get massive and quick payout, as long as you have the capital to invest and recover from the risks. Associated content is a grinding method for those who wish to put in a lot of repetitive work and are quick with manipulating english. All of these methods were appealing to me but no matter what I always found myself gravitating towards autoblogging. Maybe it is just the idea of setting up multiple franchises that got me hooked or maybe it is the former mmorpg addict in me who knows what it is like to grind a repetitive task with something new and exciting every step of the way. I don't know but my intuition tells me to start here.
After lurking this forum on and off for the past couple of weeks I have broken down autoblogging into what my newbie eyes tell me are the five core components. I will be doing an extensive research project on each of these components over the next week or so that I can have a well rounded idea of autoblogging before I begin. I will post my findings here so that maybe I can save somebody else in my current position the hassle of using the search bar and taking what they can get from the many, MANY great threads out there on the subject. All in all this thread will be my journal, a collection of my personal thoughts, opinions, findings, and resources which I have found helpful. A newbie's journal for newbies. Of course all forms of input are welcome, I enjoy a good critique and take constructive criticism very well.

    Part I.
The Five Basic Components Of an Autoblog.

From what I have gathered on this website I've broken down autoblogging into what I feel are five primal components and these are:
    I. The Blog
    II. Autonomy of the Blog
    III. Traffic to the Blog
    IV. Hosting of the Blog
    V. Monetization of the Blog

    1. The blog itself is usually supported by a specific web blogging service such as Wordpress or Blogger (But, if I am not mistaken there are many more out there). In my experimentation I will be sticking with the more commonly used Wordpress.
    2. For the blog to truly be an autoblog it must require little to no attention from you after it is fully set up, hence why it is called an autoblog. This is achieved by plugins(think of it as an addon in firefox or an MMO but they are uploaded to your blog) that automatically post content based on keywords that you enter. Wordpress Robot is an example of such a plugin and I will be using this in my experimentation. You have to be VERY careful here because you do not want to plagiarize so make sure that you are not being credited for anything that is not unique content or you could face serious consequences(At least make sure that copyright holders are credited). I know there exists more plugins that can do this and/or rewrite content so that it is unique and safe from copyright infringement, but as of the moment I do not have any specific examples.
    3. Traffic! Traffic! Traffic! I cannot stress this enough, you will go nowhere if you cannot direct REAL people to your page. This is how you make your money and your blog is nothing without it. ?Organic? traffic is a term often used on this site and it means that real people are visiting your blog. There are multiple ways to get people directed to your website including social media, backlinking, SEO(Search Engine Optimization), keywords, and also traffic(Yes traffic brings traffic, isnt that conveinient =D). The basic idea is the same as developing a rural area into a commercial zone. You must build roads to your town or nobody will ever get to it, the more roads you add the wider they get and more they get traveled. Eventually more and more people will know about the town and you may even see it on a highway sign. Every blog must reach a targeted group of people, also known as a ?niche?, and should be able to grab their attention. This is your demographic and you have to be able to grab their attention if you want them to spend more than a few seconds viewing your website.I must admit this is one area I need to research a little more extensively, and that is what I will be doing after this post.
    4. The autonomy of your blog may seem harmless to entrepreneurs like ourselves but many blogging websites frown upon this sort of activity so its best to own your blogging website. I do not think http://www.wordpress.com will even let you upload your own plugins but I'm not sure. Anyways, from what I have read http://www.hostgator.com/ is a frequently used website for autoblogging and it has a reasonable monthly subscription rate. For the purposes of my experimentation I will be using a website called http://www.theproductjudge.com created by a BHW member that is focused on autoblogs and provides free hosting. The thread can be found here:

      http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/blogging/190326-free-autoblog-hosting-professional-premium-fast.html

Fellow newbies I highly recommend you try this website out because it is an excellent playground for your first autoblogging experience. After I get the hang of things I will be using hostgator as my domain provider.
    5. Finally we are going to start talking about money. There are multiple ways to make money with a blog making it one of the most flexible money making methods here on BHW. A blog can sell a product with a review, a blog can direct a reader to a website advertised in an ad, and a blog can even require surveys to access certain types of media. BHW has many resources on all of these methods but the programs that immediately come to mind are Google Adsense, Clickbank, **************, and Amazon.com. I suggest you lurk this forum and become very familiar with each of these programs and integrate them into your blog. As for me I will be including adsense in my blog, configuring wordpress robot to automate posts linking to clickbank products, and I would like to figure out how to get wordpress robot to include a ************** survey before playing embedded youtube videos on my website.

And that is it for now, I will be coming back here regularly to post on my personal discoveries, my successes, my failures, and all the things I have learned. If anyone would benefit from knowing more about anything I say please just leave a comment on this thread or shoot me a PM. Thank you Blackhatworld for the flood of information you have provided me and will provide me as I take my first steps into the world of autoblogging.

Haha, thanks man, I have a good feeling about this and I will undoubtedly be using youtube to drive traffic and keep it in mind as I do a little bit more digging into directing traffic tonight.

My goal is to have 5 fully functional autoblogs by the 15th earning me an income of at least a dollar a day, 10 blogs by the 30th earning me 10 dollars a day and then from there well see. I hope to make at least 30 dollars a day by the end of the summer but I'm setting the bar low now so it gives me room to grow. Modest, I know, but these baby steps will pay off in the end and I'm fairly confident I can do even better than that but I'm not going to count these chickens just yet. What do you think BHW, is that realistic?

Yes, as a matter of fact I have two blogs up and running and I'm experimenting with them to see what gets me traffic as that is my true goal here. One day I had 60 visitors to my first blog and I'm trying to replicate that traffic so that I get it daily and the numbers go up. Im averaging a total of 30 unique visitors every day. I'm using social advertising (Twitter, facebook, youtube, and soon CL) to get traffic and so far It has been successful. I'm trying out a cross between affiliate marketing and autoblogging as well so really I feel its all about networking and content at this point. I will update when I reach 100 visitors per day. I don't think there is very much to say up until that point.

What are you using to monitor visitors? I hope you're not using StatPress. :p

I wish you luck in your endeavours!

I feel like I chose a bad niche, Im changing direction because I feel I should be focusing more on an adsense centric autoblog than an affiliate centric autoblog. I have alot of backtracking to do tommorrow

It's somewhat misleading. StatCounter and Google Analytics are more accurate, but I wouldn't use GA on an autoblog just in case they manage to tie it to your normal Google account.
