I AM SHOCKED TO KNEW THIS TYPE OF COMPANIES ALSO CHEATING. SO WHAT WE DO NEXT FRIENDS

Gigbucks clone website of fiverr cheated me for not paying money.

i waited for 10 days to clear my amount after clearing they deleted my amount from account balance and said payment paid but my paypal account not received payment. when i asked them they reply sorry we cannot accept anymore Paypal. create alert pay account via over our link then we pay u.

My friends even after i submitted they didn't paid me. so my friends don't use gigbucks no guarantee of earning money after 10 days

Were you the buyer or the seller? Were you selling something that was sketchy at all? I've heard that they have a short leash if there are issues with what you are selling or if buyers have reported certain services.

have you realized gigbucks is not an affiliate program? :p

with all seriousness, i also had problem with this particular clone, however they paid me every time:
they terminated my account w/o any preliminary notice because of one week inactivity...wtf, why do i need to log into the account if i don't receive any order/message because they suck big time in term of buying traffic?! (an email notification has been sent out if there's any message or order has been made, so i know about the messages, orders w/o logging into the account), anyways, i've never contacted them to lift the ban and this is exactly how much effort these clones are worth: not even an email if your somewhat well-established account got banned for some reason...

just stick with fiverr, ALL the clones are a big waste of time (trust me on this, i tried quite a few), there's no exception, all the people who states the opposite most likely has a clone (see above)

There is an exception...I run a clone that is now one of the top ten largest. I am a paid member of this site and I GUARANTEE you will have no problems if you deal with me

So don't make generalizations when you have no idea what you are talking about

Also had a nice notice yesterday, that Gigbucks can't pay through paypal any more.

Other option was to get paid through alertpay, but I don't think this is a good business model. if everything else is connected to paypal, then it isn't reasonable to use alertpay (the withrawal fees are too high to make it worth). Gigbuck has so few sales that sending the money to alertpay that it's fed up by withrawal fees.

I'm sticking to fiverr. Just canceld all my gig at gigbucks.

If the owner of GigBucks is a member here, they are either guilty or NOT a member here, they should have weighed in by now

i understand you try to defend your site, i don't say you don't pay, i don't say that anybody will have a problem if they deal with you, i just said the clones are suck big time when it comes to buying traffic, there's no exception

    you must not know, but gigbucks is one of the oldest and most successful clones out there, but when it comes to orders it's still way behind fiverr, you can have 100 orders on fiverr until you get 1 on {gigbucks;zeerk;tenbux;uphype;insert any somewhat successful clone site here}

i have the 20 exact same gigs on the top 5 fiverr clones since 1,5 year (plus minus a few months depending on how old these sites are), i got very close to 0 order on them and i'm getting several on fiverr every each day, so i don't think there's any problem with the gigs themselves

i can't tell you exactly how many orders gigbucks generate a day, but it was around 200 a month when a last checked, what do you think how many transactions does fiverr process a day? i can help you with that, it's around 5,000 atm and it's growing

anyway, you can help us to see how successful your clone is, if you let the numbers talk and answer these few questions below:
what does it mean in your book being the owner of a successful fiverr clone?
how many active members your site have?
how many transactions your site process a day?
you cannot really prove these numbers, i cannot really contradict your numbers either if there'll be any, so maybe it doesn't make too much sense, but just for the hell of it

    HoneyBird...

I understand where you are coming from...but here is how I look at it.

I have had very successful fiverr gigs myself, and the reason why they were successful was I was driving traffic to the gig by myself.

So I had an idea to do my own clone and then charge 4 times as much for the SAME GIG.

And your numbers did not add up of 100 - 1.

I advertised my same gig for both fiverr AND my clone and I was getting nearly 4 - 1. Which means for every 4 gigs on fiverr ordered, I was getting a $20 order on my clone for the same gig.

This balances out. What people fail to realize is you HAVE TO promote your own gig. If you don't promote it yourself, the odds of you being successful will be slim to none.

My site as 1260 REAL members and there are about a dozen transactions processed daily.

What I'm trying to obtain are sellers like myself that realize that you have to drive traffic to your own gig instead of just plopping it down and hoping that people will see the gig in a sea of thousands of others just like it.

    @Giftguru

ok, i see your point, but why drive traffic to a clone when you can drive traffic to the real deal (fiverr) and i'm taking it further: why drive traffic to a gig at all which obviously can be sold for more than $5 if you can make a landing page for it with full control?
you can sell your gig for more than $5 on fiverr as well, if you're a top rated seller (gig extras, order more than once)

idk man, maybe your clone is really different, but people on clones hardly buy anything even for $5, not for $20

my numbers are accurate, i'm pretty sure about that, i can't even remember when did i receive an order on the clones, maybe there was one in last month on fiverr.de
the situation was better when i started with the clones, there were more orders than now, maybe the search algorithm they use, new gigs at the top etc.

you say a dozen orders daily...that's why i was curious about numbers and what does it mean being the owner of a successful clone, because - no offense - but a half decent fiverr seller delivers more than a dozen orders per day alone

anyway, good luck with your site ;)

Well, all of your points are well taken....

You basically cover the ideals and values of marketing. You need to do ALL of those things. If you have a gig, you should promote it on fiverr, every clone, your own landing page, blog drops etc etc etc...
