Hey guys, i spent today writing this piece of software YouTube Comment Checker to check if your comment is on a youtube videos front page. That way you dont comment the same video twice, thus raising spam alarms. It also gives you an idea of how long your comments are sticking.

I needed software to do it and i couldn't find any so i thought i'd make my own :) Quite straightforward, i will incorporate new features into it in the future, such as importing from a file instead of copying and pasting video URL's and Video ID's.

It should be easy to understand, please just fiddle with it and you'll work it out.

It is in a self installing exe format, if it doesnt work download the vb6 runtimes.

I apologise in advance for a stupid question
but what is the benefit of comments.
Does this mean if you comment is the newest on a high viewed video, some viewers might click to see you videos?

I believe comments make it look more natural so youtube doesn't get suspicious.
 
For example if you are using comments to advertise a site then you can keep a note of how many comments are still actively being seen on the front page of that video.

If you still have the majority of comments holding on the front page then you may not want to post any more comments. I dunno, i find it useful and thought others would too. Ah well i enjoyed making it :p

Could you maybe make it so when I add video ID's it outputs ID's only?

Yes, it would be good if this software could send a comment as soon as it realises that your comment is off the first page.
