Hi everyone,
you see alot of GIFs around that use copyrighted material, regardless of whether it is SFW or NSFW content. Especially for NSFW content you often see short clips (~1 min) from a video, that is posted on social media sites and used for promotion reasons.
I read in articles, that self-created short GIFs that are just 1-2 secs long are being regarded as "art" and are therefore not infringing copyright. Maybe it is a grey zone, but what about those short clips? What is your opinion on this matter?
