Ghosted Twitter Accounts?

Hello,

I had a pretty bad followback rate on a lot of my accounts so I decided to see what may cause this. I logged in to one of the accounts and tried to follower another one of my accounts, and while it does follow it correctly, the other user does not get a notification that I have followed. Does anyone know if this means that the accounts are ghosted? And if they are ghosted how do I prevent that from happening. Does it have something to do with the IP, because I tried creating a fresh account and follow my other account but that also did not give a notification.

If anyone could help me out on this I would greatly appreciate it.

I don't believe that's your account being ghosted. Did you refresh the account for updates?

Yup, I did refresh and I even tried following multiple of my own accounts, none of them showed a notification that I had followed.

Ghosting occurs when twitter auto-unfollows after a second (like instagram). If they don't get a notification, don't worry. But if you're being aggressive you may want to slow down and not lose all your hard work.

ghosted accounts? you mean like accounts of dead people? coming up with fresh tweets?

I agree. There is nothing worse than losing an account that you have built up for a long time.

Anybody found a solution to this? I'm still getting the same problem where I try to follow someone and they won't get a notification at all. I have 500 accounts and this is still happening to them. Some help would be great! Thanks!

i tried stop following for 2 weeks, and at least for me worked
