Anyone know how to deal with an GMB thats ghosted. I had one created for a low competition industry about 3 weeks ago and typically just the name and creation of the gmb will rank.
However for this GMB, its still live but it doesnt show up anywhere. Even if i google the name of the business.
I have a few reviews and backlinks towards it but still is completely ghosted. Any suggestions?

Is it service area or a physical address listing? Have you added photos to it on the client side? In my experience it takes a service area listing a little while to index and even then you need to get some photos and reviews in order for it to appropriately rank. Also every single market is different.

Add some photos on the client side and one review and it will then stick out like a sore thumb.

Thanks for that, I added a few photos and got some reviews and noticed it started bouncing. It was nowhere before and now on the second to third page. I will add a few photos every few days and do some business posts as well.
Its a service area listing , the last gmb i had setup had an address and ranked out the gate.

It's because of the provider of the GMB. If the method used is shit you will never rank...

The method has nothing to do with how the GMB will rank. This is not true.

Service area listings just don't rank until you get some photos and reviews. Also you said something about adding posts? Posts do nothing for your ranking, don't waste your time.

send a follow up - if that fails then move on .
 
Sounds like a soft suspension or filter issue. Try adding more local signals and double-check NAP consistency sometimes it just needs a small trust nudge to pop back.

How is it doing? I wanted to check in. On October 28th about six of my newer Gmbs fell off a cliff. I'm trying to figure out what is going on, I think Google ran an update or something and it's fucking my niche, maybe others too.

My advise is that you should try reinstating the GMB account
 
Google seems to have soft-flagged it. To increase trust, add genuine geotagged photos, improve your citations, and publish occasionally. Ghosted listings can frequently be restored by making a minor edit and initiating re-verification.
 
Try a full re-verification with a different method (video/postcard), ensure your address details are 100% consistent everywhere (NAP), and add unique, detailed interior photos of your business. Sometimes a complete suspension appeal is needed if it's algorithmically flagged.
 
Sometimes, even in low competition niches, a new GMB listing can take a bit longer than 3 weeks to properly index and start showing up, especially for brand new businesses. Google is cautious with new profiles.
