Is there a way i can get rid of/unfollow the people who FOLLOW ME? As i have so many ghost followers id like to get rid of them and give my account a more cleaner look

I'm also doing mass unfollowings and cleaning all my accounts. If you use Jarvee, you can use the blocking tool and set your criterias, you can also play with the unfollow criterias (Followers/following ratios)
 
You can block them...

But that isn't very good.

You could just put up with them and post good quality viral content and grow your following
then you'll look like a bigger account and your account will actually be active.

posting good quality content is important, but you'd be surprised how much ghost followers can affect your engagement rate.

This can possibly affect your account's reach.

To the OP, I've heard Jarvee is good for that. I'm actually looking into it for myself.

Yeah i might download the free trial and just block or unfollow all the dead accounts
 
I'm investigating this right now too for my account ~40k followers, but I suspect alot of ghosts tanking my engagement. It seems Jarvee is the one to use, can any of you guys that tried vouche for it's function to delete ghost followers?

It would be important for me to also not just BLOCK them forever, is there a way on Jarvee to block them to get them to unfollow you, then unblock them right after? I know alot of older IG users just like to scroll and not engage, I would like the option for them to follow me again if they truly want.

Good points. I've been looking into Jarvee as well and those are my same concerns.

If anyone can vouch that would be dope.
 
Before you dive straight into trying to block / unblock your ghost followers. Spend a bit of time trying to get them to engage. Like their recent medias, post a comment etc.

IF the numbers are large 10k+ you cannot be tryng to get them all to engage, so target those most likely. Filter the list first. Ignore people who are not active, filter those with bad follow rations (if they are follows 1000s and 1000s probably they just don't notice you), try ans ascertain if they are spam /fake accounts (easier said than done, but possible)

This should give you a more managable list of users to target
 
@aduseia Any luck on your part? I have been engaging more with my users and I do notice a bit more comments on my latest. However what @rootjazz suggested seem more feasible. Right now im just randomly clicking users on my followers list and manually liking their post.

@rootjazz you mentioned filtering the list in another thread that I tagged ya. Seem before I do anything, I should filter to know who to engage with (even if i engage manually). In this case, can you point to a software or site that can filter for me? I've read Jarvee can get people banned?

Edit, just noticed you are behind Instadub in your banner. Is the stuff I want to do possible with your app too? Filter -> Engage -> Find ghost -> Block/Unblock (to get them to not follow me anymore).

As to your Jarvee concerns, I doubt Jarvee is getting accounts banned, they have a good reputation. In my experience, it is not bots that get accounts banned, but users. Also, when things appear random, it could be a whole swathe of reasons that explain the ban, but the user tends to blame the bot first. Remeber we are botting one of the biggest sites in the world owned by one of the most profitable tech companies who make their money by spying on user behaviour. ISG have stated publicly they are going after bots, so we can assume they are upping their game all the time
