Getting your video to appear in a Google search

I want to make a video with a keyword phrase in the title and have it so that when people search Google using that keyword phrase my video appears as one of the results.

Is there a way to make sure this happens?

Do off-page SEO for your YouTube video and it should get up there

Works well with low comp keywords.

Great as my keywords are low-competition! I hate pestering, but I'm rather new to SEO/IM. Do you mean things like forum posting, blogging, Yahoo Answers, stuff like that for off-page SEO?

I've noticed that one of the main factors in where your video ranks, is the View Count. A while back I took some keywords relating to Online Poker and I sent thousands of views to this video and as the view count increased and amount of daily views increased, so did the ranking of the video on Google. This could have been a fluke and I haven't tried it more than once, but that's my opinion on this.

SEO on your video and views, if your video is on top in youtube it will be on top of google for the keyword you target.
