getting wordpress onto domain...

    i made my wordpress site on my computer, using easyphp. how do i get it onto my site (domain) now? is it as simple as uploading particular files to my hostgator account?

    any help would be great!! :)

    *Upload all files to hostgator.

    * Edit the site URL in the database wp_option table

    *Export the database

    *Import it on Hostgator

    * Make sure its linked right with wp-config.php

    * Your site is live.

    i hope i'll be able to do this! sounds a bit hard though, i don't really know about this stuff. thanks for the help ;-)

    Another option, would be to go to your cpanel in host gator, scroll down and click Fantastico. Its a blue looking smiley face in the software section. It wilkl auto install wordpress for you. Write down the admin login and password. Then FTP your your wordpress themes folder into wp content/themes. If you're unfamiliar with FTP clients, use filezilla.
