What are your toughts on this?

Put some 5 days ago and they all got deleted.

They where all in relevant pages and to relevant content, and all under the External Links section.

You think registering for an account will help them stick?

    Thanks

I think that it is crucial NOT to use your keywords in your wikipedia backlinks.

    Example:
If your website writes about local news - don't use in your link title "Yourplace News", but use the name of the website.. like "Yourplace Tribune"

.. if you haven't got a decent website don't be surprised that your link is deleted, but even then you can chase backlinks that are posted in References... how? think... you should be able to understand it yourself :D .. or maybe i'm to lazy to write about that :)

wikipedia wants a lot of in-depended source about your website to accept you

so if you are not reputable enough you don't have a chance

I registered for an account and made over 10 edits with useful information, citing my website as a reference. Week 1 and they are still there. Btw, I see a lot of crap references and links just looking at them.
