Hello,
Does anyone know why I am getting only 1-2k views on my Tik Tok videos compared to what I used to get which was 10k+ sometimes even 80K or 120K

I am not sure why this happened, I notice the change when the coronavirus started.

This.

Millenials hugely attacked TikTok these days. Inevitable happened so suddenly and quick thats why I used word "attacked", because TikTok was bombarded by new users. New OLD-AGED users who ruined established algorythm with their boomers habits and forced it to change.
In my opinion it (algo) is still trying to figure out what the f*ck is happening and trying to achieve stability like old days.

conclusion
easy views will never come back like oldays (exception are the biggest players on tik tok)

I have the same issue. My niche (cooking and food) is devastated. I was worried about my content ("did i get shadowbanned?" etc) but needlessly. I saw many cooking top players have the same viewer counts and very rarely their movies go viral or semi viral.

Maybe a change in the algo

Yes, I noticed thousands professionally players are doing Tiktok in this month
One guy get 1M follows in 2 weeks.

I guess that maybe one of the reasons

Each week is going to be slightly more difficult. Take advantage while it is still super easy!

It is possible that there is competition on the niche you are working.

anyone have opinions with a food niche on tik tok? is it growable?

Tiktok is a decentralised platform, meaning that it uses the fyp to show you random content, not just the most popular.
To do so it means that at some point everyone has a chance to get pushed to the fyp.
tiktok uses a sort of 'ranking' factor, at the start when you don't have a ranking it will push more of your content to the fyp. and the engagement of that will help determine your ranking on the algorithm.

If you were finding your initial content was getting more reach it could mean could've just been the algorithm figuring out where to place you
best way to increase this ranking is to post more content of higher quality that'll get more engagement imo
