Hey guys,

I have a Twitter account with about 53,000 followers, and in that time, I've had impostor accounts and other problems with my Twitter account. It's been a real struggle having to explain that this is the real me. I've had to update my profile several times in order to keep up with everything and keep a professional look.

My numerous attempts to contact Twitter to verify my account have been ignored, and even when I did get a response, it wasn't helpful.

I was curious if there was any other way I may be able to get verified. I've seen someone offering a service that promises to verify your account in 48 hours, but when I ordered this service, I was told it could not be done right now.

Is there anyone else offering a verification service? Is there any other way to get verified? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again!

Twitter does not accept public verification appeals right now..
I think I have read a thread almost like this here in BHW. It says that you must be a celebrity or pay $15,000 like that. :)

$15,000 seems a bit steep for a little graphic on your page. I mean, it's frustrating that they implement a system like this and then don't give it to people who truly need it. I could see if I had like 300 followers but I'm already at 53,000+ and I still haven't even heard from Twitter, despite reaching out to them numerous times about this issue.

Like I said before, I found this service before that promised to verify in 48 hours, and it was backed with real customer testimonials, but when I ordered it, they were unable to verify right now and to try again later.

There's gotta be someone out there offering some type of service to verify.

BE CAREFUL! I put in my login information on one of those websites and I lost my account. They stole my account with over 180k followers and they changed the username, email and password.
