Getting traffic from Social networks

I'm trying to get more traffic to my site using social networks.

I uses to promote using 2leep,mgid,wahoha and i get almost 3 millions visitors per month... but now...
is different, i only get 100k per month.


My first option was buy a fanpage wit at least 200k likes and the same in talk about this.

But then i see the option "buy pinterest followers"


The question is... why buy followers..1000 followers....10.000 followers when most of them are
fake profiles made just to sell. Those follower won't click my links and they won't see my page.

So here is my question... if you are not getting traffic to your site... why buy pinterest followers?

Also... what are other options to increase my traffic?

I am new to all of this but I would guess simply to legitimize the perception of your pinterest page. You eventually are going to be following/trying to be followed by real people and people are much more likely to follow someone with 10,000 followers than someone with 9.

But like I said I am a noob so maybe there is more to it.

Its better to get real followres instead of fake ones but real followers are not cheap.

so, whats the point on buy fake followers? get more follower who follow people who follow people with large number of followers?
