A few weeks ago I bought a reddit product here and it inspired me to explore reddit further. I have a prety high karma account (325K). I tried posting links in the past and didn't go well. Lucky for me I have a high qualitty account so I was unbanned pretty quickly.
There are a lof of inactive subreddits and if you want to become a mod you have to go to r/redditrequest. But this can take up to days or even weeks (I requested a subreddit 8 days ago). But I found another way to get subreddits. It is a lot of manual work (took me at least 1 week, 2 hours per day) but it gotten me some nice results without going through r/redditrequest. Of course I will still do that for subreddits but while I am waiting I will continue using this method as well.
Below are 10 NSFW subreddits (semi inactive or inactive) meaning the mods haven't moderate these subreddits and I became the mod instead. Now I'm going to customize them all. Put banners and icons, put my own links of course as well in the sidebar. Edit the automods that my link is put in the message when some one joins and when some one post (will have to experiment with that and see how that goes). I did made some money already with it by sending to my adult video websites.
I will also put links to all of these NSFW subreddits to each other as suggestion
Most of these subreddits have on average 40+ (for the smaller subreddits) -500 people online, which is not bad at all for subreddits that were just lying around so to speak.
Now this method is nothing new or special. I'm sure other people have done this as well or doing it as well. And if you think about it you will realize as well what method I'm talking about.

Method, like I said nothing special. I search for the NSFW subreddits and mods that have been inactive. Then I message those mods asking if they moderate it or have the time to do this. If not can I take these subreddits over. Some say no, others don't reply but 10 mods said yes
