Getting started

Hey all, I've been reading up all over BHW for the past 2 days, but I still have no idea where to begin?!?
Is there a good thread saying the basics to start making CPA $$?

Maybe some advise here?

I have a question about 'backlinks'. How exactly do we receive backlinks? Through the Google searches, or what? I'm confused on this, and I have 5 blogs running, and I've earned about $4 in 3 days.. It's a start, but I'm sure I could earn more.

Read all you can from as many different places as you can. This site is a great place to start. Search for the term "Backlinks" on here and you'll find a wealth of information. As many people on here will tell you, you'll have to think outside the box in the internet marketing arena. Very very few people will hold your hand to guide you step by step. Learn some basics first, then choose a method, and give it all you got.

Where should I start with a wordpress blog?
I assume all those posts that claim to make $1000/day are all about posting videos to youtube with a link to their wordpress blog??
What about all those sites about "get a free ipad!!" is there a tutorial one those?

I am just interested in figuring out the basics, then I will try and find a way to make it work.
