Getting started with PPC, looking for some guidance.

I just introduced myself earlier today in the Introduction section (I can't post URLs yet).

I decided to finally get started with PPC. I have a budget of $2-3k (and after getting 2 Facebook accounts banned) I'm looking for some guidance on getting a profitable campaign. I've read various guides here and I'm still struggling to find an ideal PPC platform for me. If someone could help me through or point me in the right direction and answer questions through Skype, PMs, or even this thread, it would be greatly appreciated.

IM is my passion and I would like continue this for the long haul. I've gone through the process of registering my business because I do see this as my future. I'm not here to give up after a few failed tries, I just want to make sure I can get started with the right approach, before I end up burning through all my money.

Valeros, are you wanting to advertise a CPA product of some sort through PPC or through a website medium?
