Getting started in affiliate marketing

I'm reading a lot about affiliate marketing, but few people talk about the internal support provided by these programs once you become an affiliate.

So I'd be interested to know your stance on affiliate marketing, if you have any comments about any programs, and if you've participated in the igaming vertical.

The internal support would be covering the very basics, but will not make you competitive.

As far as I understand, it's all about targeting and accessing audiences in a cost-effective manner.
