Getting some decent traffic, what next?

Hello,

Figured out a good way to get some decent targeted traffic daily to my site. The niche is Bodybuilding (not worried about sharing this because it's already a competitive niche).

The problem I am stuck with is how can I take this targeted traffic and turn it into returning traffic? Are there any tricks I can utilize so people sign up for my newsletters or to get them to come back to the site on a daily or weekly basis?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

And before anybody says "use the search feature", I did and I am now just looking for niche specific advice to solve this problem, hence why I shared my niche.

Offer a free report in exchange for their emails. Keep the opt in box above the fold. If possible, put a video above the opt in box as well, talking about what is in the free report.
 
Well man.. Am interested much in body building and am in.. Building my body for street muscles now and am not using any pills or supplements.. So, do update like you gonna start a session in a week, join the session and see the best result in two months.. Update a type of workouts simultaneously.. Bring out their interest.. It will really help..

Keep offering advice to your users. Once you establish a trust between them, they will come to your site on a regular basis. Just by offering free advice is a good start.

Look at your competitors and see how they're doing it. Use something similar if you can't tweak it and make it better yourself.
 
Yeah, offer them a free ebook or something if they sign up for your newsletter. Build that list and then send them usefull information and sometimes a cpa or clickbank offer.
 
Thinking of hosting a giveaway to build an email list and grow my social following. I used to do this with PunchTab but now they charge an arm and a leg. Anybody know any alternatives?
 
Have a good number of contents in your site.
People will return to your site if they see lots of related content to what they are searching.
Then, they bookmark your site, share and return.

Offering something free users will be a good idea to generate traffic. More importantly you should focus on young generation - as they will be more beneficial to you.*
 
I have Adsense implemented in articles already. I don't want to over flow the site with ads and turn off users.
