Getting scammed while buying IG acc

I was looking to buy an account from some random guy for $30 (he isn't from BHW) after payment he straight up blocked me.
I know there are a lot of scammers and I just took the risk, hey its only $30.
Anyhow, should I even bother disputing it on paypal or do I just move on? I don't want to waste time if dispute is going to fail.

On a side note, anyone got Adult(Sexy girls like) IG accounts for sale?

Thank you for your offer but I'm looking for already established accounts (5k+ followers, "hot girls" niche)
 
Why not dispute it? It wouldn't require too much of an effort or time. Just open the claim, upload your proofs to PayPal, if you have chat logs, emails etc. It's a winnable case definitely.

This is what I made the thread for, I wanted to see if something like this was actually covered by paypal buyer protection because there are certain exceptions. I just created dispute and need to wait for 7 days untill I can escalate it to paypal
 
if you sent the money as goods and service you can definitely get your account back.
 
^true, if u sent it as friends and family, you are fucked.
 
I sent is as "Pay for goods and services".
I was expecting it to be some throwaway pp account, he is actually trying to defend himself lol

Is paypal going to accept IG DM chat log as evidence? I'm kind of doubting it since it can be easely faked :/
On a side note my pp acc is in good standing, been doing a lot of transactions lately so that might help me a bit.
Any ideas how to proceed next other than just waiting for 7 days to escalate to pp?

Just buy followliker and establish your own account, you can get 5k in a couple of weeks with the right settings.
 
you dont need sms just verify them with email!

Paypal will be able to refund the money if you can prove you didnt receive the product.
 
If you paid via a card or bank, you could request a chargeback from your bank. Even though it's not a lot of money, it's still your money. All you have to do is call your bank and explain the problem and ask to do a chargeback because you never received what you paid for after buying something via PayPal. I did a chargeback a couple days ago for $400 and my bank did a chargeback right away. A day later the seller actually sent me a refund, maybe because he saw that my bank did a chargeback but either way, it worked out.

Well, i think i only did 1 or 2 disputes. It seems i'm lucky that noone really tries to screw me over or it's just my 6th sense lol. Anyway, with one of my disputes i clearly remember that i uploaded a screenshot of an email convo, PayPal accepted it as proof and decided to my favor. So i'd say, just upload all proofs you have.
Not sure about the exact process, it wasn't yesterday when i last did this, but the seller have a grace period until he can reply to your claim, maybe you need to wait a few days and just then can you escalate. But i think, you can see this in your PayPal account and the options you have.
 
Better call PayPal, they take you much serious over the phone.

ya definitely call paypal. Also for extra evidence to help your case, get a friend to contact the owner of the account and pose as a potential customer inquiring about purchasing shoutouts from the account that he supposedly gave to you. You want him to give your friend shoutout pricing for the account in question as well as his paypal info. Once you have that, the scammers game is over. I have used this many times and it works like a charm.
