Getting payment gateway , India

Hi,
Greetings,

What payment gateway I can use in India

I am a Freelancer

I only have savings bank account

I am not a registered business

I cannot fulfill the KYC criteria to get Indian payment gateways

One scenario I want to use payment gateway is

I can host public domain movies
and I can host AI images

I can charge a subscription fees on my website

Also a small ecommerce shopping cart
is in my plans

How to get payment method?

Is crypto an option in India

Stripe is not available for India

other international payment methods
may not be available in India

I dont have knowledge about crypto
and its use in India

You can try DodoPayments, it's a Merchant on Record service like Lemon Squeezy.

It doesn't require business pan or anything else.

I think they have 2 settlements (once every 15 days) and will allow you to accept multiple types of payments depending on the country of your client.

Their founder is pretty active on Reddit etc.

It is very much available for India.

You better not use regular payment methods for pirated content. If you want to run a piracy site, you need to keep it discreet. Leaving your bank account details in the open is a highway to jail.

It's actually not. For about 2 years now.

Even a lot of people who got an account before that, have had their accounts nuked.

They say it's "Invite Only" and that you should contact their sales team. But they have a higher barrier to entry and deny most applications.

Even for their Atlas offerings, which is their own way to bypass country restrictions by getting a company registered in the US, would very specifically state that "Stripe Atlas is not for Indian founders". They have since changed their language to using the LLP-Route, something I have been talking about for 2+ years. Because as per Indian laws, even paying the atlas fee is considered Overseas Direct Investment, and you come into violation of several laws.

It depends where your clients are from for example if they are from india, I would go with psp or mids that offer UPI, there's alot just do some research on google.

I guess you want to sell in USA and some of the western countries? Might be easiest to find a provider that offers nominee services that can get you a cheap corp with a local nominee in a place like USA, UK or similar. Then just use that to get the merchant accounts with providers...even Stripe. But not sure what your budget is.

Hello. You can use Payssion. They offer payment option to India Users.

Your post is not clear, Are you want to take payments from india? UPI will work for you?

Focus on crypto methods. There are some with no KYC if you can't fulfill it.
