getting past bad days

I work very hard for my business but some days it seems like one negative thing after another and it just kills my productivity.

For instance I put lots of time into my products and I get very few complaints. But anytime I do get any little complaints it seems like I take it in too hard and let it ruin my day and productivity.

Anyone else deal with this and have any suggestions? Maybe I just need to vent...

What that means is you care what your customers think about your products. It's not a bad thing. But you have to understand that no matter what, there will always be someone complaining. Give someone a million dollars, they will find a way to complain.

I think this happens to everyone once in a while. I had the same problem in the past. In fact, a month or so ago I had the same issue where I had two issues in one day after only having one issue in an entire year. It messed up my whole day, but I decided to only check email in the morning and night in an attempt to get over the loss in productivity. I found that checking email even once a day after I have been productive actually works best.

Yes this happens to Everyone at some time or another. You just need to try and think positively and remember you cannot and will not make everyone happy. Even if everything was perfect always some people will still find a way to complain about something.lol You just need to laugh it off, and see if you can do anything to make things better the next time for that customer if they are a regular customer. For sure don't dwell on the negative. Let it go and Be happy for all the positive and good productive days you have. We are given the bad less productive days to power us and motivate us to do more and be better. So don't let a little complaint ruin your day.

^^This. Trust me. There are people in this world that have one objective and that is to complain no matter what.
