I have felt extremely demotivated lately. I’ve built a few pretty good sized projects in the past, but just can’t make myself get back into good habits. Working out, spending excess time on side projects, ect.

Have you faced this issue? What have you done to overcome or resolve it?

Declare yourself a short retirement vacation. Read books and watch movies that will motivate you during this time. But don't work. Just have fun. Be careful this doesn't take too long. :)
Thanks for the advice, any tips on how to ensure it doesn't take too long? I feel stuck in this cycle of gaming and general unproductive activities when I typically am pretty good about being on top of things. Probably doesn't help that my full time job is super lax atm and I really only work a few hours a day.

Any books or movies you'd recommend?

It happens to everyone. Just have to take breaks when you get burnouts otherwise you're useless. Eventually your mind recovers.

IS common, maybe you are burn out, take a break but keep the goal in mind, always keep checks in your mental health is also important.

What do you even do if that’s out of wack

I believe it's a mindset formed from intake. social media we know should be used for our benefits in marketing. all other use cases kind of abuse you as a human with your dopamine and other people marketing to you. Stop intaking negative music, shows, words in your mind and when you hear statements that are of negativity in nature you declare the positive to help reprogram your subconscious to look towards the light. I am trying to learn myself but this is my 2cents I hope you effectively reprogram your mind. words are powerful and waking up early as digitaguru said is absolutely right, another benefit is you get more time to focus in the day, you get sunlight as soon as you wake up to help level out your circadian rhythm and vitamin d will help you remain calm and collected, can be said its overlooked.

I hope we all win.
