Hey everyone! I am new to the game of local SEO and clients have been hard to get! Wondering if you have any advice, video's to watch, threads to point me toward?

Anything beyond Craigslist ads, and google places would be great!

Thanks!

also very interested in getting more info for offline seo! nice thread thanks!

Find local business contact information, and then use that information to contact local businesses.

Go to your local banks and see what companies are advertising through the bank. See if they have sites. Call/Email them.

Make a site for your business and a contact page

Do PPC advertising with local keywords.

ok, go do something.

Nothing happens over night. It took me months to perfect my tactic of gaining a client. Keep trying and failing and learn from those failures until something works and then expand on it.

Good luck.

Do this, trust me it works.

1. Go to Google.
2. Type in any product/service keywords (e.g. mortgage, landscaping, realtor, dentist, etc.)
3. Check out the companies advertising in AdWords and are not listed organically.
4. Pick up the phone, call them, book an appointment.
5. Close the sale.
