Use "Google Keyword Tool" to figure out how many searches per month each keywords and the different combinations of them:
For example: "Arizone photographer, Arizona photography, Arizona wedding photographer, Arizone wedding photography, cheap Arizona wedding photographer"
To obtain top ranking, learn about onpage seo and offpage seo in the white hat or black hat section of the forum. Learn about link building for new website.
I hope I plant some seeds in your head to get started. Don't forget to diversify your keywords and links.

Just to add on to that, be sure to search with the EXACT match. And be sure you look at the local monthly searches as opposed to global.
Absolutely, all variations would be a play on the photography and local area.

If you're new to seo it could take you months to years to rank. You're probably better off hiring someone who knows what they are doing and focusing on your business rather than wasting time and money on things that don't work. -- Just a friendly suggestion, not trying to discourage you from learning.
I was wondering how I even get ranked, where do I tag the certain terms, are they meta tags?
