anyone with a more "useful" answer? :)

You are getting "useful" answers. Nobody is going to tell you the exact method or formula to get your site on page 1. Build a website with relevant content, build backlinks everyday, and read this forum for more ideas!

Yes its Possible!

You can't use any tool yourself without knowing how to use it and there are tons of services http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/f43-services-sale/ but no single service can bring your site in front page for this keyword. You've to read the reviews and try different services and choose the best which works for your site.

If it was me, I would charge you just $6000 to rank pwnedgamers.com in front page of google within next 40 days. But me and my company is quite busy in managing so many projects. So i would recommend you to post a thread in http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/f76-hire-freelancer/ section and find good proposals.

Btw, I don't think VbSEO is installed in your forum?

Sup DEREKTROTTER,

Yes you can get your site to the top 10 results on Google. Based on comparing your site and forum to the top 5 results for "gaming forum" I know you can do it, however it will not be "easy" or happen overnight.

The top results for your KW all have significantly more age, PR, and backlinks. So it will most likely take some time and constant growth rank #1-#3 from what I am looking at.

I would continue to feed, but it's better for you to do research to learn. Here's what I recommend:
Go to the download section here at BHW: (or sign up for free trials)
Download: SEO Powersuite
MS (market samurai)
IBP (internet business promoter)
Then use these three tools to dig deeper into the 1st page results, paying more attention to the top 5. And then compare their metrics to your own site.
You can make a basic Excel spreadsheet of all the top metrics and each site vs your site to get a very clear idea of where you want to be. Be sure to review both on-page and off-page.

A couple other useful tools I recommend:
Majestic SEO
SEO Quake (firefox plugin)
SEOtoolbar a SEO toolbar

This will get you rolling and you'll learn a TON. Then take this same method and find easier keywords to target for other sites :D

Remember that just about anything is possible in IM and not to limit yourself!

I hope this helps you Bud ;)

Yes the search function can do wonders. There were alot of posts regarding forums and how to rank for them

Looks like you would like to be spoonfed. Just take your time and learn all the stuff yourself.

Learn what web 2.0 sites are, create a few submit some articles. Post some articles to article directories. Build some social bookmarks. After you understand the basic principles, get a couple softwares. Scrapebox and the best spinner is all you really need in the beginning.

thanks mate for the time to write this.

It makes me laugh how members of forums talk down to new members like trash.

Appreciate it, cheers

Its nice to see some of the forum members helping newbies out. It is rather rude for some of the posters to simply dismiss a question just because they don't want to take the trouble to help another human being.

Hi Bud, You're welcome and I am happy to help at least some. ;) Come back
and give us a status update with your success soon!
Sometimes it's difficult to get ourselves pointed in the best direction
with so much going on when starting out in Internet Marketing as newbies, I still go though it too.

Yeah it is kind of funny seeing various reactions on forums with SO many different personalities and such competition.
I can understand where some of the veterans of BHW are coming from, even though some may
not handle their response in the most diplomatic manner. We all have our days!

All too often posts like "How can I make at least $25.00 per day?" pop up here, and it's that kind of stuff that
helps generate ill feelings towards newer members here and elsewhere. Some reactions are just from general stereotypes and
newbies catch some attitude inadvertently, and other times reactions appear to justified because of a complete non-sense post like that.

All we can do is grow, help others grow, do our best and of course as you said laugh at all the silliness in between :lmao:

Cheers - To IM Success, and gl ;)
